Refund and Returns Policy
A Real 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
If you order a product from us and it doesn’t work, we will make it right; that’s our guarantee. Our products carry a manufacturer’s warranty covering the product for a specified period.
Suppose you are unsatisfied with a product’s appearance or performance. In that case, you can return any unused, unaltered item within 30 days from the date of purchase for a refund of the purchase price, less shipping charges.
For a product to qualify for the 30-day satisfaction guarantee, the returned item(s) must be in resalable condition. The product must not show signs of use and must be in its original packaging to qualify. If the product is not in resalable condition, it is non-refundable. However, in some instances, our returns department manager may waive this policy and refund the product’s purchase price, less shipping charges, and a 25% restocking fee.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, notify us by email or phone within 30 days of the purchase date, and we will promptly issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number. No restocking fee is typically charged, excluding special orders, if the items are returned in resalable condition, meaning in the original manufacturer packaging, unopened blister packs, with no torn packaging, and no visible wear and tear on the product(s).
Items returned that show signs of being used or installed are considered used and cannot be returned.
If your item does not qualify for a return, we recommend listing your product on eBay or Craigslist, which are excellent platforms for selling used products.
All items listed as “ALL SALES FINAL” will not be accepted if returned, and no credit will be issued. Actual shipping charges we paid will be deducted from the refund amount unless the return is due to our error. Occasionally, we offer free shipping promotions. If you return an item purchased with free shipping, the cost of shipping the product to you will be deducted from the amount credited to your account. You must meet the following terms:
- Return the merchandise to us within 30 days of your original receipt of the order.
- The products must be returned in new, resalable condition.
- You must include all packaging materials.
- Packaging materials must not be torn or damaged.
- All manuals and warranty registration cards must be unmarked.
- You must pay any return shipping expenses.
- Display the RMA # prominently on the outside of the box to avoid delays in processing your refund.
- Items returned without first obtaining an RMA# will be refused.
Warranty Returns:
A manufacturer’s warranty for defects covers nearly all products sold by Safeguard Supply. For specific warranty requirements for a particular item, please get in touch with the manufacturer or us for assistance. Click this link to access all manufacturers’ phone numbers.
Please note that each manufacturer has its return process, which is separate from ours. While these processes are outside our control, we will gladly assist you with the return to the best of our ability.
We will issue a credit to your charge account upon receipt of the returned merchandise in good condition as outlined above and within 30 days of original delivery. You may receive store credit towards another purchase or request a refund.
How to Initiate a Product Return:
Please note: If you ordered the product from our Safeguard Supply Amazon Store, you MUST initiate the return through your Amazon account by Amazon’s return policy. A representative will issue you an RMA#.
Select a shipping carrier and follow their shipping instructions.
Please print your Return Authorization form and include it with each shipment back to Safeguard Supply. You have 30 days from when the RMA is issued to return your merchandise, so please print and ship at your earliest convenience. Do not tape anything to the original packaging; we need all products (and their packaging) returned in new condition. Place all merchandise in a shipping box; you may use the original container. However, please DO NOT use the manufacturer’s product box as the shipping container, as it may arrive damaged, and our returns department will reject the package.
