What You Should Know Before Using
- The transmitter (push button) supplied with this kit comes paired with the receiver from the factory, set to default ringtone “Ding-Dong”. If you are only using the push button included with this kit and are okay with the “Ding-Dong” ringtone, then there is no programming/pairing required. **Note, some kits contain two receivers in the same box. If this is the case, the two receivers should already be programmed to the push button in the box. If the second receiver is an add-on (in it’s own box) it will need to be programmed to the push button.
- IF NOT, please refer to the “Quick Start” section to pair the transmitter with the receiver and set your favorite ringtone(s).
- It is not advisable to mount the transmitter onto metal surfaces as it will diminish or block RF signals between the transmitter and the receiver. However, if this is the only option then we recommend that you use the double sided tape provided for mounting the push button.
- Operating range will decrease if battery in transmitter is in low power status.
- without any shelter which could accelerate the aging of plastic materials.
Quick Start

- Volume Control Button Location: Press the Volume Control button on the receiver to toggle between High and Low volume and mute. *The volume level setting does not affect the strobe light.
- Set Ringtone Using the Music Change Button: Press the Music Change button to choose your favorite ringtone. Stop pressing the button once you hear the ringtone you want to use.
- Pairing a transmitter to the receiver:
- Hold down the Volume Control button for 5 seconds until a quick double “chirp” sound is heard, and the LED strobe starts flashing. The receiver is now in pairing mode.
- Push the center push on the push button (or other transmitter) to send a signal to the receiver. The receiver will play the selected melody and once complete, it will exit programming mode.
PLEASE NOTE: the push button and receiver included in the WC180-SS Kit come preprogrammed. The instructions below are useful for adding a second push button or replacing the included push-button.
Troubleshooting:
- Nothing happens when I push the push button:
- Is blue light illuminating on push button when pressed? If not, the battery needs to be changed.
- If blue light is illuminating, is push button programmed to the receiver?
- Check the volume of receiver.
