The ERA-UTVPR wireless entry alert kit combines two Safeguard Supply ERA Series components: the ERA-UTX extended range universal transmitter and the ERA-VPRX portable vibrating receiver. The ERA-UTX is a dual-function transmitter that works as both a push button and a magnetic door/window contact. In push button mode, the front button serves as a doorbell or call button. In door contact mode, the included magnet is aligned with the side of the transmitter so that opening the door separates the magnet and triggers an alert. In either configuration, the ERA-UTX sends a wireless signal to compatible ERA receivers.

The receiver supports four volume levels up to roughly 80 dB and provides multiple melodies, allowing each transmitter to have its own unique tone. It can be set to sound only, vibrate only, or sound and vibrate simultaneously. A backlit display and indicator icons show when an alert arrives and provide basic information about the receiver’s status.
